Occupational Therapist OT
POSITION
Summary:
The Occupational Therapist screens, evaluates and treats patients/residents, documents services and communicates with families and interdisciplinary team members while facilitating optimization of patient/resident participation in activities of daily living.
DUTIES
Responsibilities:
Provide professional Occupational Therapy services.
Completes documentation accurately and timely.
Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives.
Works efficiently and effectively whole utilizing facility resources responsibly.
Complies with all facility policies and procedures.
Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants, therapy aides and therapy students as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
Must have one year experience as an Occupational Therapist (geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred) Must have current license to practice Occupational Therapy in facility-specific state Must have current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.
