Manufacturing Engineer

A Manufacturer of Metalworking Machinery, Heating Exchangers, Condensers and components is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in designing and implementing machine/assembly cells and factory layouts.
The Engineer must have understanding of the process of engineering revisions, engineering change notices, engineering deviations and impact on manufacturing. Experience working in an Assembly and/or Sheet Metal Fabrication manufacturing environment is essential as well as Project Management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects varying in scope and complexity. Must have the ability to direct, mentor, and train operators and others in a team based environment.
The Manufacturing Engineer must be knowledgeable and skilled in the use of standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs; the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings specifications; inspection instructions and continuous improvements skills including event leadership. Kanban knowledge and the ability to set up one piece flow cells. Knowledge of ISO based quality system and the ability to absorb extensive raw data (e.g. forecast/demand data, finite work elements, quality data and scrap/rework data is required.
This individual will work closely with Plant Supervision and Management at all levels to determine feasibility of proposed projects and provide data or information for accurate business decisions.
o Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
o 2 - 5 years' experience
o Lean Manufacturing techniques and methodologies
o Six Sigma Methodologies
o Strong Mathematical and Analytical Skills
o Ability to develop summary graphs, tables, pivot tables, and other reports using PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
o Knowledge of ISO based quality system

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
