Fabrication Supervisor

This is a Fabrication Supervisor position with Marley Engineered Products LLC.
Job Summary
The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for leadership of the fabrication and paint process, while maintaining a high level of focus on Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Delivery of fabricated parts.
Safety champion for area of responsibility. Promote and lead best in class safety and housekeeping practices. Perform all required site duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Lead and develop effective personnel to ensure an efficient, motivated, and skilled workforce.
Coach and mentor associates to achieve goals.
Promote and maintain team effectiveness and morale as demonstrated by positive actions, attitudes and judgment.
Cross-train team associates.
Ensure production schedule follow through to insure on time delivery of orders, audits production reporting.
Expedite as required materials procurement and processes throughout the factory, making necessary priority decisions to assure prompt delivery of quality product and determine manpower requirements to maximize throughput of product.
Coordinates repairing of equipment and tooling with Maintenance in order to maintain the production schedule and avoid excessive down time.
Recommend improvements and desirable modifications in organization, product flow, procedures, and policies, cost standards, engineering specifications, methods, processes and equipment.
Ensures proper maintenance and good housekeeping of tools, machines, equipment and facilities.
Review and analyze various manufacturing and labor reports to determine reasons for variances from plan and take appropriate corrective action and monitor parts and process quality levels to assure production is in accordance with established specifications and standards.
Assist manufacturing engineering with new product development and implementation.
Education and Experience
Bachelor Degree required in in business or technical related field preferred
3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with manufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication and powder coat paint is preferred.
Experience in familiarity with press brakes, punch presses, CNC Machines and welding is preferred.
Experience in quality, manufacturing or continuous improvement engineering is preferred.
Must have Strong computer skills with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
Having a good understanding of product flow and understanding of planning manufacturing operations is essential.
Advanced understanding of blueprints and advanced mechanical ability. Experience part dimensional checking processes.
Experience die setting procedures and family of dies.
Strong understanding LOTO and Machine guarding.
Demonstrates strong Coaching/Mentoring and Personnel Development skills.
Must have excellent safety and quality leadership record
Able to lead people and manage processes through a continually changing environment
Flexible, open to change and able to handle ever-changing priorities
Must be results oriented with a proven track record of achieving business goals.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with all levels of employees
Experience working with cross functional teams
Analytical and problem solving skills
Proven ability to assess situations and develop plans to quickly resolve
Knowledge of Lean principles.
Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy required
Work cross-functional with all departments to ensure quality and maximize productivity
Works well under stress with the ability to deliver on time required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
