Responsibilities

Optimize equipment reliability by utilizing electronic systems and communication to maintenance and operational leaders on tasks planned. ? Owns the administration of CMMS system, vibration, thermographic and lubrication programs. Collects data from operational and maintenance routes and identifies potential issues. ? Provides effective planning and scheduling of maintenance related work, down time activities, and major shutdowns.?Provide planning, buying and scheduling of outside services for breakdown and scheduled maintenance.

PEOPLE?




  • Coaches personnel to provide information related to CMMS system. (Work request info, actual hours, job plan details, etc)?


  • Maintains appropriate time lines and protocol with personnel to organize and schedule down days and shutdowns.?


  • Responsible for tying in Operations, Maintenance, Capital, and other mill areas to CMMS system, including the generation of appropriate reports for mill personnel and areas.?


  • Meet with Management weekly to discuss down time issues, PM Schedules and metrics.


  • Coordinates equipment repairs with Mohawk Engineering and/or outside vendors


  • Track equipment failure rates. Identify problematic equipment and/or components


  • Maintain Preventative Maintenance program

PM DATABASE?




  • Works with appropriate personnel to develop detailed job plans as necessary.


  • Maintains the PM database on behalf of appropriate parties.?


  • Works with personnel to optimize PM database. Reviews history and feedback to assess whether PM frequency can be reduced, or adjusted.


  • Verify that CMMS data is accurate and timely.?

WORK ORDERS?




  • Works with personnel to plan work orders in preparation for scheduling.?


  • Identifies and procure all parts, tools, repairs and services required and work with Stock Room or order Non-Stock parts as required.?


  • Develops job plans and identifies required skills and resources.


  • Tracks status of work orders.?


  • Runs multiple reports for appropriate parties.?

SCHEDULING?




  • Provides PM, Lubrication route(s) & other Work Orders to appropriate parties.


  • Scheduling Down Days / Shutdowns?


  • Schedules resources against planned work and PM?s by priority.?


  • Provides time lines for work activities?


  • Create Parts Kits to coordinate with PM work.


  • Provides direction to contractors and staff.?


  • Manages the time line for plant areas.?


  • Key participant with personnel for planning meetings?


  • Works with personnel to issue rebuilds to outside services as necessary.?

CONTRACTORS?




  • Coordinator for Contractors to support the planning process for identified contractor jobs.?


  • May provide direction to contractors for some activities?

RECORDS & RETENTION?




  • Provides reporting information for maintenance key metrics?


  • Maintains files and manuals associated with CMMS and equipment?

  • Provides estimates and costs for planned work.?


  • Administers and tracks costs for activities scheduled.?

Qualifications


  • Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance Discipline or commensurate experience


  • BS Degree in Maintenance relate discipline preferred


  • 4 or more years? experience in Maintenance Operations


  • Excellent written and verbal communication?


  • Strong administrative skills to utilize CMMS system, typing, and Microsoft Word & Excel?


  • Knowledge of Mechanical Equipment?


  • Knowledge of industrial AC motor specifications desired


  • Have a good understanding or our safety policies and job safe practices.?


  • Must be able to Multitask. Attention to detail and organization is key?


  • Effective at time management and recognize bottlenecks?


  • Must have focus on continuous improvement?


  • Planning and Scheduling skills and knowledge is a definite asset.?


  • Needs to be able to do research on parts (ex: look at the schematic of a gearbox to see what bushing it uses)?


  • SAP/JD Edwards is strongly preferred?





Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
