This is an HR Generalist position with Marley Engineered Products LLC.

Job Summary

This position is accountable for assisting in delivering human resources support for the Bennettsville facility, which is a hands-on position assists in supporting the manufacturing plant through partnering and driving the implementation of HR processes and initiatives throughout the plant promoting a results oriented and performance driven culture.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as a key Employee Relations contact for facility to respond and follow up to day to day HR related issues such as performance management, benefits questions, attendance, payroll, and other workplace concerns.
  • Support the full scope of the employee life cycle including: identify resourcing issues, implementing local staffing plans to ensure staffing levels are met, managing recruiting, onboarding , and exit practices.
  • Provides support and guidance to associates with the importance on maintaining a high performing work environment and emphasizing coaching, counseling, policies and standards.
  • Manage attendance tracking system and administer attendance policy.
  • Manages the HR systems such as Kronos, Key Scan, and SuccessFactors by coordinating the collection of information, inputting information, and running/auditing reports.
  • Supports effective local communication (monthly operations meetings, 360, tool box talks, announcements, bulletin board, electronic communication board, etc.)
  • Assists employee self-service including Kiosk units.
  • Responsible for filing system and records retention maintenance. Ensures HR records are maintained to support HR audit & compliance.
  • Completes reports according to established methodologies. Pulling and analyzing data from HRIS systems and related data sources in order to complete headcount reporting, department metrics, plant metrics, Annual Service Awards reports, Compensation, etc.
  • Coordinate and monitor hourly employee reviews mid-year and EOY for target completion.
  • Assists in driving a high level of employee engagement by updating Company information, Coordination of on-site events: family day, holiday events, celebrations, sales meetings, community, retirees , etc.
  • Responsible for leave management status reports, update employee status, and authorizes leave payroll. Serve as a liaison between 3rd party leave administrator and the employees as well as the corporate Benefits Department.
  • Responsible for setting up and scheduling internal employee meetings and training sessions.
  • Site Benefit contact including disability and FMLA.
  • Update and maintain job descriptions.
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Required Education / Experience

    Bachelor s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred Education / Experience

    • PHR or SPHR certification
    • HR experience in Manufacturing Operations
    • Experience working with Kronos
    • Experience with seasonal staffing and a temporary workforce.
    • Experience in managing and implementing projects

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding

    • Strong computer skills with Strong Microsoft office skills (Advanced Excel & Powerpoint preferred)
    • Ability in coaching and advising supervisors and managers on employee relations issues.
    • Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs and develop solutions.
    • Well-organized with a systematic approach to responsibilities.
    • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
